We had a visit from QPS. They brought along Nellie and Nieve, 18-month-old pups, and Koda, a 6-year-old police dog. They all enjoyed many pats from the children.

We had Dannika Patterson, a parent and author of Jacaranda Magic, read her book to all the children. She also showed the children her draft copies and the process of an author, illustrator, and publisher. The children were all captivated by it all. Thank you to Ivy and Fraser’s Mum for bringing in x-rays. The children guessed which part of the body the x-ray belonged to then, for a challenge there were x-rays of different objects, and the children matched these as well.
